HOISTS AND WINCHES

Fast, efficient and cost effective access solutions

Sean Doyle Scaffolding now supply modern and technologically advanced Hoist Transport Platforms and Winches for fast, efficient and cost effective access solutions. Winches are designed to pull loads horizontally across a relatively level surface, whereas hoists can be used to lift loads vertically and suspend them in mid-air.

Both are highly recommended providing a portable working platform and supporting the transportation of people and materials swiftly up and down / across construction works, enhancing on-site productivity, saving both time and money on large commercial, residential and industrial sites nationwide. We provide hoist installment designs specific to your project and client requirements.

Hoists

Hoists are used for the efficient transport of persons and materials, with a vertically guided cabin allowing easy access up and down construction works.

Construction Hoists are temporary building site elevators that are powered vertically by electricity driving a cage on a rack and pinion system to quickly carry goods or passengers to a given floor level using the traditional system or VFD (variable frequency drive) with capacities of up to 2,000 kg which can carry up to 20 men.
*Machines in accordance with Machines Directive 2006/42/CE

Winches

Winches are particularly effective in transporting materials and personnel vertically, especially in high-rise and complex scaffolding setups.
