A McAleer & Rushe project transforming offices into student accommodation, this complex scheme required the removal of an existing atrium to install a tower crane within the building. Working 20m above ground, Sean Doyle Scaffolding Ltd, in close collaboration with Scaftec Ltd and Ground Construction, designed and delivered a heavy-duty birdcage scaffold spanning a 12m atrium. The structure supported multiple alloy towers and operatives, enabling safe and efficient demolition and crane installation on a tight central London site.
